Eighth Seeded Petra Kvitova keeps her hope of winning her second Wimbledon after overcoming the challenge from 25th seed Ekaterina Makarova. Kvitova advanced to the next round after winning the match 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. She will face Carla Suarez Navarro in the third round.
